Gosh I own alot of stuff. I have sent a whole lot of it back to the op-shop from which it came.
(except that when i was dropping stuff off a girl was dropping off a cute storage tower... which i asked for nicely :P... ah, I never stop accumulating crap)

Packing has been intense, interspersed with trips to ikea and then creative chopping of random ikea cheap things.
I think that I am fine for furniture, but one more bookcase wouldn't go astray in the future :p
Am about to adventure to greensborough to pick up some armchairs I won on ebay. Yay! They turn into a bed too! And the tops should be easy to recover with cuteness.
Can also now afford a mattress through a few speedy and ingenious sales. I am very glad that it will not be put on my credit card now :)

I am exhausted and am fairly sure that I have a broken bone in my foot. It hurts alot, so much so that I stood on a piece of glass today and didnt realise for several minutes because I was fixated on how much the other foot hurt when i was walking :S
The weekend will be hellish, because everyone I know who can carry stuff (aka. vaguely manly or uninjured) are unavailable. I think Leon and myself will end up a little dead :S

Cool stuff randomly found, that I thought was lost: mp3 car tuner, quasi cd, sentimental cassettes. Gah, cant remember anymore.

Also I got my pen scanner in the post from teh states today - it works a treat!! I am so excited about the speediness and time saving awesomeness of the device!

I think my new decorating theme is going to be stripes. Colour and stripes. Still slightly mexican, but perhaps even more colourful. I am thinking of resurecting my year 12 exploitation popart sexy boys for the wall.

Woohoo pen scanner and ikea hacking! There's a website devoted to people who modify ikea furniture, although I can't remember where it is. L wants to know how much you paid for the pen scanner :p

Now that you've found the car tuner, do you still want L's one? You're welcome to it still!

Not good about the foot :( At least the injury happened in good circumstances!

ahh pen scanner - it is seriously good. I think it was US$50-60 on ebay, and about $10 postage. New they are $70 - 130, but often the postage is up to $45 :S. I just love that the dollar is still so good... so it was a n affordable trial extravagance.

Car tuner would still be awesome! (Mainly because my ipod is about to die which will make the car tuner redundant :P)

ah... the pain is a happy memory.

also, what day is your super birthdaeee??!!!

The car tuner is yours! Well, it was anyway, but now it really is :p

L was telling me about some pen thingy that recognises what you're writing and text recognises it. How cool is that?

Birthday is next monday, not that I really plan on doing anything. Have decided that going to work would be a terrible thing on my birthday, so instead I will stay home and do assignments (just as fun, really :p) But if you're around, we could have lunch/breakfast or something :D

Hello, long time no see!

We have two bookcases that we're about to list on eBay if you're interested in them. They are tall, black and have 6 shelves. I don't have the exact measurements yet, but if you're interested you can have them. We were thinking of listing them for $20 each, so come and have a look at them and tell us if you think that's reasonable, or make us an offer if you like.

Do you need a fridge? We also want to get rid of our old one (which works perfectly well, but is just a bit small for us).

Hello *waves*

thanks for the offer on the bookcases- all my furniture is white so black isnt ideal, but let me know the measurements on the bookshelves because I know someone who would probably really like them :)Will text her now.

I bought a frige last week - so just a smidge late on that one :P

Yay for non-debt mattress acquisition! Less yay for broken foot :(

I remember those popart sexy boys fondly...

And, gosh, I own so little. I swear, I don't need a wardrobe - I'll just use a shelf off the bookcase.

That said, I want to go all crazy Victorian decadent excess - much fabric, swathes of it, in stripes and chintz and florals, silks and valvets. Ha! Like that's affordable! Maybe I could make do buying a pipe, and just wearing my velvet jacket around the place? (It's Victorian in my head!)

POPART SEXY BOIS WALLCOVERINGS get a huge thumbs up. As long as there's room for my darling JD somewhere.

Oh my god, dude, seriously.... whhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! :)
