okay, i am back now.
i dont know that anyone really knew that i was gone because i never post and never actually see anyone, but at least lately i have had the excuse of being interstate.
I have no idea what has been going on with everyone.

it rained nearly everyday that i was in sunny queensland and as usual with my dad, my days were laregly punctuated with watching the cricket, betting on horseraces and many random drives in the countryside. I think that I am well mellowed and appreciate my dad more now that my mum has remarried. We resurected gingerbeer spiders and i will have to corrupt the next generation with them soon.

I came back to find that mum has bought me half a kitchen to move out with, which is joyous, and would only be made moreso if i actually had a place locked in to move into. She also bought me a skin to make a drum - this is very very excellent. And a perfect new handbag and a book filled with pictures of cats... much squee was had.

I am petrified by going back to uni next week - i think i am in well beyond my depth. I can also think of a million projects that i would love to write on and could get inspired by right now, but alas, these are not my actual project.

i need to find a rhythm. hopefully it is one that goes bom, bom-bom like all the best Ronettes songs.

i think i have my old reader from "sexing the self" subject a few years back - i can dig it out and you can have it! it had some good history of medicine stuff in it. I'll be in the garage sometime this week and when i find it i will get in touch :)

Are you going back to do anthro? what are you doing? The best subject i ever did at uni was the one on witchcraft in the anthro department. It basically inspired everything I have written on seriously since.

I had been worried about you, because I had not heard from you in a while. Glad to have you back.

If you want to come see choral people (come see us!) there's JJ's party on the 29th, Kate and Bron's on the 1st and I'll be arranging cocktails at platform 3 soonish.

I knew you were gone! Good thing my holiday got postponed, from the sounds of things!

I was waiting for you to get back- I think I'm in need of some singstar goodness. It's been too long!

Hello! Welcome home! I had been wondering where you'd got to!

I was wondering if you needed a fridge or pots for your new kitchen? We've just renovated our kitchen and have replaced the fridge with a fancy bigger new one, but the older one works perfectly fine, it's just a little small (350L) for a growing family of four. We're also planning to celebrate the new kitchen with a new set of pots that can go through the new (!) dishwasher (the current ones have plastic handles that won't do so well in there).

Anyway, happy to see you around again :)

Hey - I'd noticed a certain absence of Gala. I'm glad that you were off having holidays rather than being misanthropic :-)

Are you still working on weekends?

I am pretty slack with LJ and hence am the last (so far) to post on here. Welcome back. And if it is at all what you need them come back to MonUCS too. It is lovely here but I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of crazy-ass musicals fans singing in disturbing unison from some otherwordly zeitgeist. We need more warriors of retro rock and soul so come back!
